About this role
NineGap is hiring an associate-level software engineer for a remote role covering the full lifecycle of web features, from design to production support. The person works with analysts, designers and peer developers, with a focus on React and the MERN stack.
What you will do
- Build, test, deploy and maintain features across the SDLC
- Follow coding standards and technical design
- Document functionality with flowcharts and layouts
- Integrate components into a working system
- Maintain unit and integration test plans
- Troubleshoot and debug the live system
- Use user feedback to make the system more stable
- Write technical training documents for new engineers
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong in HTML, CSS, JS and the MERN stack, especially React and Redux
- Understanding of OOPS, persistence and threading
- Hands-on with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
