About this role
Born West is a remote-first creative tech agency building digital products for clients worldwide. This role has fresh graduates joining the India engineering team to build full-stack features in Ruby on Rails and React from day one, with heavy emphasis on ownership and fast learning.
What you will do
- Build and ship features using Rails and JavaScript/React
- Write clean, readable, well-tested code
- Give and receive code review feedback
- Work with product/design to translate requirements
- Debug and own issues end-to-end
- Contribute to technical and architecture discussions
What the employer expects
- Fresh graduate or 0-2 years of experience
- B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc in CS, IT, ECE, or related field
- Strong programming fundamentals (DS, algorithms, complexity)
- Familiarity with a backend or frontend language
- Understanding of HTTP, APIs, databases
- Basic SQL knowledge and comfort with Git
