NCR Atleos is a global technology company building self-service banking hardware and software for banks and retailers. This engineer builds high-volume, reliable Java and Spring Boot applications and works with product and stakeholders on design.
What you will do
- Build large-scale applications with Java and Spring Boot
- Work with complementary tech like Postgres, React, DevOps or Azure
- Turn features into stories and software designs
- Join design reviews and code walkthroughs
- Consult stakeholders and customers on requirements
- Own and drive technical solutions with business partners
What the employer expects
- 1+ years of full-stack development with Java, microservices and cloud
- Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, microservices, AngularJS/JavaScript
- Working knowledge of two or more of GCP, Azure, databases, Python, React
- Hands-on use of AI in development, such as GitHub Copilot or AI agents
- Solid data structures, algorithms, design patterns and concurrency
- Able to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues
