About this role
Veeva Systems builds the Vault cloud platform for the life sciences industry. This role sits in the Vault Automation Platform & Tools team and focuses on testing infrastructure changes such as zero-downtime upgrades, high availability and disaster recovery through automation.
What you will do
- Understand Vault infrastructure architecture to test infra changes
- Set up and maintain the infrastructure test environment
- Build test automation for zero-downtime upgrades, HA and DR
- Maintain and improve the automation framework and test harness
- Run automation, verify bugs and triage results within release milestones
- Work with product managers, engineers and QA
- Report status and risks to onshore managers and leads
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or similar
- 1+ years in test automation or an SDET role
- One or more of Java, JavaScript, Python, Bash
- Hands-on API automation (REST Assured or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, EKS and IAM
- Familiarity with tools like ELK, Prometheus, Ansible or Terraform
- Agile/Scrum understanding
- Willing to work from the Hyderabad office four days a week
