About this role

Diligent offers a SaaS suite for governance, risk and compliance used by boards and executives worldwide. This early-career engineer builds secure serverless microservices on AWS in TypeScript, owning smaller stories from development through deployment and monitoring while using AI tools in daily work.

What you will do

  • Deliver early-career engineering tasks with growing autonomy
  • Own smaller user stories independently
  • Work with senior engineers on complex projects
  • Follow code quality, testing and CI/CD practices
  • Use AI tools for coding, debugging, testing and reviews, validating outputs
  • Join architecture discussions and sprint demos

What the employer expects

  • 1-3 years of software development in an agile team
  • Familiarity with Node.js and/or TypeScript
  • Experience building REST APIs aligned with OpenAPI specs
  • Exposure to Angular or React
  • Knowledge of Git and version control practices
  • Experience with Docker and containers
  • Understanding of AI concepts and AI coding tools
  • Awareness of data privacy when using AI tools
