About this role
WebMob Technologies is a software company with a team of 60+ members. This trainee role has you help build Laravel web applications and REST APIs under senior developers, while learning MySQL work, code reviews and documentation practices. There are 2 openings.
What you will do
- Help build web applications with Laravel following coding standards
- Implement features with senior developers based on project requirements
- Take part in designing and building REST APIs for front-end integration
- Write clean, maintainable code and fix bugs
- Assist with MySQL database design, queries and performance tuning
- Join code reviews to learn from feedback
- Document development processes, code changes and technical specs
- Contribute in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Basic understanding of Laravel and its architecture
- Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with MySQL and writing queries
