About this role
Lilac Infotech is a Kerala-based software company that builds web and mobile products for clients worldwide. This role is for a backend developer who builds and maintains Laravel applications, designs APIs and handles deployment. There are 4 openings, and applications close on 30 Nov 2026.
What you will do
- Build and maintain web applications in PHP/Laravel
- Design and implement RESTful APIs
- Design MySQL databases and tune query performance
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways
- Implement authentication, authorization and security practices
- Debug and optimise application performance
- Join code reviews and keep coding standards
- Deploy applications to live shared/VPS/cloud servers
What the employer expects
- 1+ year of professional PHP Laravel experience
- Experience on live production projects
- Strong Core PHP and Laravel 8/9/10+ knowledge
- Solid understanding of MVC and database relationships
- MySQL and database optimisation skills
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js
- Git version control
- Basic server management (cPanel, VPS; AWS is a plus)
