About this role
Pragma Edge is a Hyderabad-based IT and software services company. It is hiring junior QA analysts to build Playwright automation and help move existing Selenium tests over. The shift runs 2pm to 11pm IST.
What you will do
- Write Playwright tests for UI, API and regression
- Support the migration from Selenium to Playwright
- Maintain page objects, utilities, fixtures and reusable functions
- Run automated suites and report failures
- Do manual testing before automation when needed
- Join sprint ceremonies and support QA readiness
- Log bugs clearly and work with developers
- Maintain test data and environments
What the employer expects
- 0.6-2 years of manual and automation QA experience
- Exposure to Selenium or another automation framework
- Basic TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and bug trackers
- Solid grasp of SDLC and STLC
- Nice to have: Postman/Newman API testing and Playwright
