About this role
Pragma Edge is a Hyderabad-based IT and software services company. This opening is for a cloud engineer who will run AWS and Azure environments and containerized deployments, working alongside the DevOps team. Shifts are rotational.
What you will do
- Deploy, configure and manage AWS and Azure environments
- Run containerized apps on Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Help automate infrastructure using Terraform
- Monitor and tune performance, scalability and cost
- Troubleshoot deployments and keep infrastructure reliable and secure
What the employer expects
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
- Hands-on Docker deployment experience
- Exposure to OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Nice to have: Terraform, Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Nice to have: basic scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
- Nice to have: CI/CD, networking and cloud security basics
