About this role
Edelweiss Global Markets needs an analyst to build reporting that gives its trading and business teams clear visibility into performance. The role centres on Power BI dashboards and data quality, with gradual growth into AWS-based data workflows.
What you will do
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for trading and business performance
- Create data models and DAX measures for accurate, scalable reporting
- Extract and prepare data from databases, spreadsheets and internal systems
- Validate and cleanse data for accuracy
- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and ad-hoc requests
- Support the organization's data platform
- Work with trading, business and data teams on requirements
- Contribute to AWS-based data workflows over time
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline
- 0-2 years of experience (relevant internships or projects count)
- Working knowledge of Power BI, DAX and data modelling
- Basic to intermediate SQL
- Understanding of data quality and validation techniques
