About this role
KubeNine is an infrastructure consulting firm running managed Kubernetes and DevOps for clients in the US, UK and EU. The QA hire owns test coverage across web, mobile and backend services. They are expected to use AI assistants to speed up test writing and debugging.
What you will do
- Write and maintain automated web and mobile tests
- Use Playwright for web and Maestro for mobile
- Own end-to-end coverage including edge cases and regressions
- Debug flaky tests and separate real bugs from environment issues
- Write API tests for Java/Spring Boot and Python/Django services
- Handle test data and basic SQL/Postgres checks
- Define acceptance criteria with product and engineering
- Report bugs with clear reproduction steps
What the employer expects

- Strong automation and programming fundamentals
- Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar
- Appium, Maestro or similar for mobile
- API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Supertest or similar)
- SQL basics and relational databases
