This junior role supports building, testing and maintaining data pipelines under senior guidance while following security and development practices.
What you will do
- Assist with building, testing and maintaining data pipelines and integrations
- Write and maintain scripts to automate routine data-processing tasks
- Support development of reusable data solutions
- Help configure and maintain data workflows across environments
- Monitor workflows and report reliability issues
- Write and run unit tests, integration tests and data validation checks
- Investigate data-processing errors and software defects
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or Associates plus two years' experience
- 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, database management or data analytics
- Foundational knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, SQL or Java
- Basic understanding of databases, data structures and data processing concepts
- Must live in the Continental US
- US citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to obtain Public Trust or security clearance if required
