About this role
Verto is a fintech company focused on simplifying cross-border payments and FX for businesses in emerging markets. The DevSecOps Engineer strengthens application security through penetration testing of web, API and mobile platforms while embedding security automation into development pipelines.
What you will do
- Conduct penetration testing for Web, API and Mobile applications
- Perform secure code reviews with remediation guidance especially for Node.js
- Collaborate on threat modeling and risk assessments
- Create and maintain security playbooks for incident response
- Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines
What the employer expects
- Proven experience in penetration testing for Web, API and Mobile
- Expertise in Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP and Python scripting
- Hands-on secure code reviews and remediation
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD
- Cloud security expertise in AWS
