Protolabs runs internal and customer-facing business applications that this role keeps reliable. The engineer maintains CI/CD and infrastructure, automates manual deployment work and supports highly available systems across AWS and Azure. Some after-hours on-call coverage is expected.
What you will do
- Provision, configure and maintain enterprise infrastructure and environments
- Maintain version control, build and CI/CD tooling
- Automate manual processes and deployments
- Support code releases into highly available environments
- Design and support load-balanced HA setups
- Support AWS/Azure and Kubernetes microservice environments
- Manage infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform
- Take part in on-call and after-hours support
