About this role
RADIUS is an AI-powered omnichannel customer experience platform built by VIS Networks. This entry-level engineer helps run and monitor its AWS infrastructure, handles basic troubleshooting and learns automation under senior cloud engineers.
What you will do
- Deploy and manage core AWS services like EC2, S3 and VPC
- Monitor resource usage with CloudWatch and respond to basic alerts
- Apply cloud networking concepts such as subnets, routing and security groups
- Help automate with the AWS CLI, Boto3 and CloudFormation
- Troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex ones
- Help apply IAM and basic security practices
- Maintain documentation and incident reports
What the employer expects
- Basics of Windows Server and Linux distributions
- Basic cloud networking knowledge
- Command-line comfort and willingness to learn Python or Bash
- Structured troubleshooting approach
- 0 to 2 years in IT support, sysadmin or cloud internships
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate is a plus
