About this role
Amtech builds enterprise software for packaging, printing and manufacturing companies and is moving its products to a multi-tenant AWS SaaS model. This entry-level SRE role keeps those platforms reliable and observable through monitoring, automation and on-call incident response, with mentoring from senior engineers.
What you will do
- Operate and tune monitoring, logging and alerting
- Track SLIs and SLOs and maintain reliability dashboards
- Assist with incident root cause analysis
- Automate routine operations with Python or Bash
- Support ECS Fargate, EKS and Lambda workloads
- Support CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions
- Join on-call rotation and respond to PagerDuty alerts
- Apply IAM and secrets management and follow SOC 2 and ISO 27001 policies
What the employer expects

- Python or Bash scripting
- Basics of AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)
- Linux administration and basic networking
- Git-based workflow exposure
