About this role
PTC builds software that connects the physical and digital worlds. This Salesforce engineer designs, develops and enhances Field Service application modules within the ServiceMax ecosystem, providing technical leadership on the Salesforce platform.
What you will do
- Design, develop and deliver complex Salesforce components and features end-to-end
- Make informed technology decisions based on scalability, maintainability and business impact
- Develop high-quality, scalable and maintainable code adhering to Salesforce best practices
- Design and implement robust data models, Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components and integrations
- Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve issues in production and sandbox environments
- Support build, release, deployment and CI/CD activities
- Handle repository and content management workflows
- Run, monitor and troubleshoot multi-step AI agent workflows
What the employer expects
- 2+ years developing enterprise applications on the Salesforce PaaS platform
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and SOLID principles
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Framework, LWC and advanced JavaScript
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Data Modeling, Apex, SOQL/SOSL and platform customization
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
