About this role
Vendavo sells cloud-based pricing, quoting and margin optimization software to manufacturers and distributors. This support engineer investigates customer-reported issues in configurable enterprise apps, from workflow and calculation bugs to integrations and performance, working on EMEA support hours.
What you will do
- Handle customer incidents and service requests
- Investigate errors, failed transactions and integration failures
- Review application, server and integration logs
- Use SQL to validate data and find inconsistencies
- Reproduce issues in non-production environments
- Escalate confirmed defects to Product Engineering with evidence
- Write RCA reports and knowledge articles
- Join priority-incident calls and on-call rotations
What the employer expects
- 2-4 years in product, application or technical support
- Experience supporting browser-based enterprise apps
- Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and/or MySQL
- Understanding of .NET-based environments
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON and HTTPS
- Understanding of authentication, SSO and SSL/TLS
- Willing to work European-hours shifts and weekend support
