About this role
Omnidian provides performance assurance for distributed solar and energy storage and is opening a new engineering hub in India. This role sits on the Performance and Financial Products team, building Java full-stack features and Databricks data pipelines with heavy daily use of Claude.
What you will do
- Implement features and fix bugs in the Java Spring Boot full-stack codebase
- Contribute to Databricks data pipelines and Python components
- Write well-tested code using Claude for generation, refactoring and integration tests
- Take part in code reviews and agile ceremonies
- Work with senior engineers on design and larger features
- Suggest small improvements to code, tests and processes
What the employer expects
- 2-6 years of software engineering experience (or strong project/internship background)
- Java and Spring Boot proficiency (or willingness to ramp quickly)
- Full-stack application experience and SQL
- Familiarity with data pipelines; Databricks/Spark is a plus
- Comfort with tests and modern dev workflows
- Ready to use Claude as a primary daily coding tool
