About this role
Pico provides market data services and managed infrastructure for the capital markets industry. This QA engineer tests its real-time market data, order entry and trading products and automates tests using an in-house framework. The shift covers EMEA hours, 14:00 to 22:00 IST, Monday to Friday.
What you will do
- Ensure quality of core financial and enterprise product features
- Test new features in an agile lifecycle
- Automate tests with scripting and programming
What the employer expects
- 3+ years of test engineering, ideally on Linux-based enterprise products
- Python and shell scripting
- Comfort with Linux/Unix
- Interest in financial markets and electronic trading
- Interest in testing methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and written/spoken English
- Cloud understanding, C or Java is desirable
