DoorDash is a technology and logistics company best known for delivery. This role sits on the Developer Insights platform team, building internal tools for hundreds of engineers, including the company's Backstage-based developer portal and LLM-powered features.
What you will do
- Build new features for the Backstage-based Developer Insights portal
- Introduce new technologies, including LLM-based tools, to the engineering org
- Improve the developer experience across engineering
- Contribute fixes and features to upstream open-source projects
- Mentor peers and help plan the team roadmap
- Present for the team in OKR and engineering all-hands
- Work across frontend, backend and data as needed
What the employer expects
- 2+ years in web technologies with TypeScript and React
- Backend experience in Java, Kotlin, Python or Go
- Product mindset for platform services
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with AI coding tools across the development lifecycle
