About this role
MoonPay is a crypto and stablecoin payments company that serves millions of customers. This SOC analyst role is a front-line position on a 24x7 rotation, covering security alert triage and incident response plus first-line IT support.
What you will do
- Monitor and investigate security alerts across network, endpoint and cloud using SIEM
- Declare, document and escalate incidents per IR playbooks
- Handle phishing and malware, plus endpoint security via EDR and MDM
- Provide first-line IT support such as password resets and access issues
- Keep ticket notes, incident summaries and runbooks current
- Watch for brand impersonation, fraudulent domains and honeytoken triggers
What the employer expects
- 2+ years in a SOC, security monitoring or incident response role
- Experience spotting data-exfiltration indicators
- Understanding of networks, macOS endpoints and IAM/SSO/MFA
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and ticketing tools like Jira
- Clear written incident summaries and shift notes
- Sound judgment on when to escalate
