Solutions By Text provides compliance-first conversational messaging and payment tools to consumer finance companies. KubeNine is running the hiring for them, and this SRE keeps their AWS environment available and scalable through automation, monitoring and incident response.
What you will do
- Monitor production, triage incidents and run root cause analysis
- Manage AWS compute and networking (EC2, ECS Fargate, S3, VPC, Route 53)
- Maintain Docker-based workflows
- Write infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform
- Maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and scripts
- Set up metrics, logs and alerts in Datadog or CloudWatch
- Maintain perimeter security with AWS WAF and GuardDuty
What the employer expects
- 2-5 years in SRE, DevOps or cloud operations
- Scripting in Bash, PowerShell or Python
- Hands-on Docker experience
- CloudFormation or Terraform experience
- Practical AWS VPC, Route 53, EC2, ECS Fargate, S3, WAF and GuardDuty
