About this role
Luxoft (part of DXC) provides digital transformation services. This senior fullstack role builds AI-powered applications for a major US insurance provider, combining React/Next.js frontends with Python/FastAPI backends and MCP servers for AI agents on Azure.
What you will do
- Build responsive user interfaces with React.js and Next.js
- Develop user experiences for GenAI features such as AI assistants and agent-driven workflows
- Design and develop backend services and microservices in Python using FastAPI
- Build MCP servers using FastMCP to expose enterprise data and tools to AI agents
- Integrate LLMs and AI models applying prompt engineering and tool calling
- Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
- Deploy and run applications on Microsoft Azure
- Write automated tests across the stack
What the employer expects
- Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js including Hooks, SSR/ISR and API Routes
- Solid backend experience in Python using FastAPI
- Hands-on experience building MCP servers with FastMCP
- Practical experience building or integrating AI agents and LLM-based features
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with REST/GraphQL API design and integration
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English
