About this role
webAI is building distributed AI infrastructure for personalized, edge-based AI processing. This junior DevOps engineer designs and scales secure infrastructure for AI workloads across cloud, hybrid and edge environments.
What you will do
- Design and implement secure infrastructure across multi-cloud, hybrid and edge environments
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible) with GitOps workflows
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters for AI/ML workloads, including GPU scheduling
- Develop secure CI/CD pipelines with SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning and secrets management
- Support MLOps infrastructure: model deployment automation, versioning, lifecycle management
- Implement observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog
- Enforce IAM, encryption, network segmentation and compliance automation
- Participate in incident response, postmortems and disaster recovery planning
- Develop reusable infrastructure modules and documentation
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on DevOps practices
What the employer expects
- 1-3 years in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Software Engineering or related role
- Familiarity with Docker; Kubernetes exposure a plus
- Hands-on or familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi or Ansible
- Experience with or learning AWS, Azure or GCP
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD
- Entry-level or associate cloud certifications a plus
