Retell AI builds voice AI agents that automate sales, support and retention calls for call centers. This founding backend role shapes the core systems behind millions of AI-driven conversations, including real-time audio and telephony.
What you will do
- Build core platform architecture such as prompt orchestration and testing frameworks
- Build observability dashboards and telephony integrations
- Design scalable backend systems and DevOps workflows
- Lead complex projects from architecture to production
- Create intuitive APIs for quick customer onboarding
- Support customer onboarding and turn feedback into improvements
What the employer expects
- 2+ years of backend development experience
- Degree in CS, CE, or EE

- Startup experience or adaptability
- Cloud infra/DevOps knowledge is a plus
