About this role
Nextpower makes smart solar tracker hardware and control software for utility-scale solar plants. This India-based analyst works on time-series fleet data and coordinates analytics programs tied to availability guarantees and remote monitoring.
What you will do
- Analyze large time-series datasets from solar plants
- Investigate tracker behaviour, sensor anomalies and connectivity issues
- Support algorithms for device availability, connectivity and faults
- Build Python analytics workflows and automation pipelines
- Create dashboards and customer-facing reports
- Coordinate Availability Guarantee programs and track deliverables across teams
- Define and validate KPIs
What the employer expects
- 1-3 years in data science, analytics or data engineering
- Strong Python, SQL and PySpark
- Experience with large time-series datasets
- Pandas, NumPy, SciPy and Scikit-learn
- Strong statistics foundation
- Dashboard and visualization experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Preferred: Databricks on Azure, Power BI, solar industry background
