About this role
Veeva Systems provides industry cloud software for life sciences companies to bring therapies to patients faster. This Release Engineer role supports the release and change management process, executes sprint deployments, and works daily with CI/CD tools while coordinating with onshore teams.
What you will do
- Support existing release and change management process with Engineering and Technical Operations
- Execute and manage deployment activities for each sprint
- Work on CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) daily
- Communicate status and work with onshore managers and team leads
What the employer expects
- 1+ years of experience in software release engineering / test automation
- Basic knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum (preferably onshore/offshore)
- Basic understanding of Linux, scripting (Python, bash, ruby, groovy), CI/CD
- Basic understanding of Jenkins, GitLab CI
- Exposure to Git
- Awareness of Docker or AWS
- Hands-on with Jira & Confluence
