Heizen is an AI-powered software services startup that pairs engineers with proprietary AI agents to deliver enterprise software quickly. This role has the hire working alongside experienced engineers, PMs, and designers to build and ship client features while growing their technical skills.
What you will do
- Write clean, maintainable code for backend and frontend apps
- Work with APIs, databases, and basic cloud infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and learn from senior engineers
- Collaborate on features from requirements to deployment
- Contribute to testing and debugging
What the employer expects
- 0-2 years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in one language (Python, Java, JS/TS, or similar)
- Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and REST APIs
