About this role
Unisys is a global technology company offering cloud, AI, digital workplace, logistics and enterprise computing solutions. This junior role builds and supports business applications on the Unisys AB Suite platform, working under senior engineers on development, fixes and L2/L3 maintenance.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test and deploy AB Suite applications
- Build components such as Ispecs, reports, classes, methods and services
- Fix and enhance existing business applications
- Support L2/L3 maintenance and resolve issues within SLAs
- Troubleshoot production incidents and find root causes
- Write unit tests and support system testing
- Maintain technical documentation
- Take part in code reviews and follow Agile/SDLC processes
What the employer expects
- BA/BS degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- 0-3 years in application development, support, testing or maintenance
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and programming principles
- Familiarity with OOP concepts is desirable
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, DMSII or other RDBMS
- Agile familiarity preferred
- Willingness to learn enterprise application technologies
