About this role
Perpay is a Philadelphia fintech helping everyday Americans, including those with subprime credit, build financial stability through a marketplace, credit-building and a credit card. This senior frontend role writes code, reviews PRs, mentors engineers and helps design new features in an on-site team.
What you will do
- Work with UX, product and engineers so the frontend meets business needs
- Keep the app responsive and accessible across devices
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Bring tradeoffs and opinions into the design process
- Research frontend trends and bring best practices into the codebase
What the employer expects
- 5+ years delivering commercial products
- 2+ years leading technical teams and large projects
- Significant React experience, preferably with Redux
- Strong JavaScript including latest ECMAScript
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience optimizing for performance and accessibility
- Interest in UX/UI design
- Must work fully on-site in Philadelphia
