About this role
Lynx Analytics runs an AI and advanced analytics practice that delivers production systems for clients across industries. This role sits in its growing agentic AI team, where the engineer builds and maintains components of AI pipelines under senior guidance.
What you will do
- Build and maintain agentic pipelines with tool use and orchestration
- Implement and tune RAG pipelines (embedding, chunking, retrieval evaluation)
- Integrate vector databases and support knowledge graph pipelines
- Write clean, tested Python and join code reviews
- Debug and improve AI systems using evaluation and production feedback
- Connect AI components to upstream data and downstream apps
- Document implementations and contribute to shared tooling
What the employer expects
- 2-4 years in software or ML engineering
- At least 1 year working with LLMs or AI systems professionally
- Working knowledge of LLM APIs and an agentic or RAG framework
- Solid Python plus version control, testing and REST APIs
- Familiarity with vector databases or embedding-based search
- Overlap with Pacific Time hours for at least 3 hours daily
