About this role
Constantinople delivers a fully-managed software and AI operational platform for modern banking. This role owns production issues on live banking systems, end-to-end, across payments, lending, and core ledgers.
What you will do
- Own Medium and Low impact incidents from assignment through to resolution within SLAs
- Investigate issues across services, logs, databases, and code to find root causes
- Write fixes and coordinate with the Change team for significant hotfixes
- Coordinate Post Incident Reviews for Critical and High priority incidents
- Turn manual runbooks into scripts, tools, and automated workflows
What the employer expects
- 2–4 years of experience as a software engineer with production support or on-call experience
- Strong in at least one language such as TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, or Python
- Proficiency in reading and debugging code in a large codebase
- Good SQL knowledge for direct data investigation
- Understanding of distributed system failure modes
