About this role
Veeva Systems is a mission-driven public benefit corporation providing industry cloud solutions for life sciences. This role is on the Vault Automation Platform & Tools team and focuses on testing and automating cloud infrastructure for Vault.
What you will do
- Understand Vault infrastructure architecture and test infra changes using AWS/Kubernetes/Docker
- Setup, maintain, test and improve infrastructure test environments
- Develop and contribute to test automation for Infrastructure features including zero-downtime upgrades, HA and DR
- Automate and optimize testing of cloud-based infrastructure
- Build, maintain and improve existing automation frameworks, test harnesses and processes
- Perform automation execution, bug verification and triage results
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers and other QA engineers
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in software test automation or SDET role
- Experience in one or more of Java, Javascript, Python, Bash/Shell
- Hands-on experience with API automation (RestAssured or equivalent)
- Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Load balancers, IAM, EKS)
- Knowledge of ELK Stack, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, CloudFormation, GitLab or GitHub
- Work in the Hyderabad Veeva office four days/week
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum
