About this role
Platform Science is an open IoT platform for the transportation industry. The Software Engineer II joins the Orion (Fleet Management System) department to design and deploy robust, high-performance cloud-native full-stack software for high-velocity fleet solutions.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Node.js, Vue.js, React.js, and TypeScript
- Create efficient internal and external APIs and develop optimized database schemas
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS leveraging Docker and Kubernetes
- Write clean, modular, and testable code; conduct unit, integration, and performance testing
- Partner with Product Managers and Architects to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Automate CI/CD pipelines alongside the DevOps team

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend build tools
