Platform Science delivers revolutionary solutions for the transportation industry via an open IoT platform. The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer designs, develops, and deploys robust, scalable software for high-velocity fleet management solutions using React, Node.js, and cloud-native practices.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable solutions using React.js and Node.js
- Implement micro-frontend architectures and Module Federation
- Utilize event-driven architecture and message queuing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with third-party services, APIs, and data sources
- Mentor and coach team members on technical design, coding standards, and best practices
What the employer expects
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development with focus on React.js, Node.js, and API development
- Proficiency in React.js and Node.js or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases
- Expertise in event-driven integration patterns and solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Proficiency with React state management libraries and front-end build tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers
- Experience in working on scalable, distributed systems with a cloud-based architecture (preferably GCP)
