About this role
Happy Money is a fully distributed consumer finance company offering simple digital loans through its lending platform. This senior engineer owns design, testing and delivery of customer-facing React applications and mentors other frontend engineers.
What you will do
- Build products that give members a great experience
- Own design, testing and delivery of features
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering on solutions
- Use AI coding agents to build, test and ship React apps
- Write automated frontend tests for critical flows
- Design maintainable, scalable, fault-tolerant systems
- Mentor other frontend engineers
- Reduce technical debt and improve tooling
What the employer expects
- 5+ years building production React applications
- Production experience with React, CSS, GraphQL, JavaScript and Node.js
- Working knowledge of Python and Java
- Experience building frontend UIs and UI SDKs
- Strong belief in test automation
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Production experience with scalable consumer apps
- Must reside in the United States
