About this role
Kantiv's chat team builds agent-based chat systems. The senior engineer leads technical design, writes production Python and reviews code. They also mentor junior developers and push the team toward AI-assisted development.
What you will do
- Own design and delivery of chat-team projects
- Set engineering standards and technical priorities
- Write production Python
- Review pull requests for correctness and design
- Mentor junior developers
- Diagnose production issues across code, prompts, models and infrastructure
- Improve reliability, latency, cost and observability
- Teach effective agentic coding workflows
