About this role
Array is a remote-first fintech providing credit and identity monitoring tools through embeddable widgets and APIs. This lead engineer builds white-label Svelte Web Components and shapes front-end standards, starting as a 180-day contract before converting to full time.
What you will do
- Build Svelte Web Components that support white-label integration and theming
- Extend the design system with Product Design
- Use modern tooling, including AI, to ship faster
- Keep built components reliable, including on-call rotation
- Deliver front-end solutions with guidance from Principal Engineers
- Develop expertise in web standards, performance and accessibility
What the employer expects
- 6+ years of professional software development
- Strong TypeScript, HTML and CSS with accessibility practices
- Experience with Svelte, React or Vue
- Mobile development experience with Kotlin and/or Swift
- 4+ years building embeddable partner-integrated UI components
- 2+ years building production Web Components
- Design system contribution experience
- Located in the US or Canada
