About this role
DXC Luxoft is an IT services company, and this role is on a bank's Investment Trading Technology team supporting Murex 3.1 across trading, risk and trade processing. The engineer resolves production incidents and helps keep the systems stable for hundreds of regional users.
What you will do
- Resolve production incidents quickly with minimal business impact
- Set up controls and checks to monitor production systems
- Investigate causes of reported defects
- Coordinate with stakeholders and onshore/offshore teams
- Follow change and incident management processes
- Provide team admin support and knowledge transfer
- Work extended hours, shifts and weekends when needed
What the employer expects
- 1-3 years in banking application L1 production support
- Hands-on SQL and Linux
- Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as ELK and Grafana
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Awareness of digital technologies, automation and environment support
