About this role
Lumel is a product company moving existing services from Node.js and Golang to .NET. This developer builds backend services and APIs and helps carry out that migration.
What you will do
- Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs in C#/.NET
- Help migrate services from Node.js and Golang to .NET
- Work with product, frontend and DevOps teams
- Write clean, testable code
- Support performance and reliability improvements
- Apply basic secure coding, logging and error handling
- Join code reviews and contribute to CI/CD
- Maintain technical documentation
What the employer expects
- 2-5 years of backend development in C#/.NET
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Entity Framework Core and relational databases (MSSQL/PostgreSQL)
- Basic microservices and distributed systems knowledge
- Cloud familiarity, Azure preferred
