About this role
Fingent creates software solutions that solve complex business challenges. The Junior DevOps Engineer designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines and Linux-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools.
What you will do
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Provision, configure and manage Linux infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible
- Deploy and maintain applications on Linux servers and Kubernetes
- Administer Linux servers including security hardening and performance tuning
- Build and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes workloads
- Configure web servers, reverse proxies, SSL, DNS and load balancers
- Monitor infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana or similar
- Perform troubleshooting, incident management and RCA
- Implement backup, DR and auto-scaling strategies
What the employer expects
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
- Strong experience with 4–5 of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, NGINX/Apache, load balancers, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis/RabbitMQ
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience deploying Java, Node.js, Python, PHP or containerized apps
- Proficiency in YAML, Bash; Python or PowerShell optional
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Basic understanding of networking and cloud security
