About this role
Vultr provides high-performance cloud infrastructure globally. This role builds the documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks and training foundation for Vultr’s new Global Integrated Operations Command Center in Chennai.
What you will do
- Create SOPs, runbooks, workflows, checklists, RACI and operational procedures
- Build runbooks for infrastructure, network, security, datacenter, monitoring, failover and recovery
- Capture current and future-state architecture and process documentation
- Create training and knowledge-transfer materials
- Ensure critical services have approved documentation and readiness artifacts before transition
- Use operational feedback to improve documentation
What the employer expects
- 5–8+ years in technical writing, technical documentation or knowledge management
- Experience with cloud/infrastructure, NOC/SOC, SRE, DevOps, datacenter or monitoring environments
- Strong experience creating runbooks, SOPs, workflows and architecture diagrams
- Hands-on Confluence and Jira/ITSM experience
- Experience creating training/KT materials and working with technical SMEs
- Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder management
