About this role
NETGEAR makes networking hardware and cloud-managed IT products. This Engineer III contributes to its cloud-based network management system (NMS) platform, owning medium-complexity features like device configuration modules and monitoring dashboards.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end medium-complexity features like device configuration modules and dashboards
- Develop integrations with network equipment vendors' APIs and management protocols
- Create interactive charts, graphs and topology visualizations for network monitoring
- Optimize application performance for network telemetry and real-time updates
- Work with backend teams to design device management APIs
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Network Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of software development experience with increasing responsibility
- Exposure to networking concepts or infrastructure software preferred but not required
- Experience in Agile development environments
