About this role
Onehouse delivers an interoperable data lakehouse built on Apache Hudi as a cloud-native managed service. This backend engineer role builds highly scalable and reliable platform services that support multi-region cloud microservices.
What you will do
- Build highly scalable and reliable platform services for multi-region cloud microservices
- Collaborate to implement new APIs, database/caching abstractions and services
- Exhibit full ownership of product features from design to completion
- Design for future scale and high availability
- Uphold high engineering bar around code, monitoring, operations, testing and release management
What the employer expects
- 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing and operating microservices in a distributed environment
- Experience with Kubernetes, gRPC and Java
- Experience deploying applications on one or more global cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Operational excellence in monitoring, deploying and testing microservice architectures
