This Associate IT Operations Analyst role provides frontline desktop support, system administration assistance and service request fulfillment in a fast-paced startup environment supporting a remote workforce.
What you will do
- Deliver service to staff within established standards
- Fulfill service requests in a customer-service oriented manner
- Monitor, respond to and escalate service issues
- Follow ticketing procedures and best practices
- Use KPI metrics to improve support performance
- Improve and develop documentation for systems and services
- Participate in training on new technologies
- Assist with inventory management and asset tracking
- Support a remote call center environment
- Support Systems Administrators on day-to-day activities
- Package and ship IT equipment for onboarding
- Process onboarding and offboarding of users
- Work cross-functionally on IT issues and systems functionality
What the employer expects
- 2-3 years Mac & PC desktop support experience
- MCP or A+ certification
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, AWS, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience providing desktop support for Mac OS including Jamf
- Understanding of networking technologies and security
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting iOS and Android devices
- Working knowledge of VOIP concepts
- Experience with cloud computing (EC2, AWS) a plus
- Hands-on experience assisting internal users with Information Systems
- Ability to work with ticketing systems and manage security incidents
- Experience supporting a remote distributed workforce
