About this role
Microsoft's Core AI group builds foundational platforms and developer experiences for Generative AI applications. This role sits on the Microsoft Foundry Agentic Core Services team, creating the cloud-native distributed platform that powers development, execution and management of enterprise-grade AI agents at scale.
What you will do
- Help define programming models and user experiences for agentic applications
- Design and build a managed distributed runtime that orchestrates agent-based AI applications
- Integrate latest multi-modal AI capabilities into real-world agentic systems
- Collaborate with generative AI researchers and engineers
- Deliver production-grade software and services at scale
What the employer expects
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript or Python
- OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years designing, building and operating production-grade software and services at scale
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions
