About this role
AiPrise is a YC-backed compliance orchestration platform that connects fintechs to dozens of identity and risk vendors and is building AI agents for KYB and AML checks. This engineer builds features end to end across the case management product, vendor integrations and orchestration APIs, from design through deployment and monitoring.
What you will do
- Ship production features across backend APIs, data pipelines and the case management UI
- Build REST APIs and microservices that orchestrate checks across 80+ compliance vendors
- Develop case management workflows and business logic for KYB/AML processes
- Build data pipelines to ingest, transform and route compliance data
- Integrate third-party identity and compliance APIs and map vendor responses
- Write tested, documented code and join code reviews
- Debug production issues and own incident resolution
- Add monitoring, alerting and observability to features
What the employer expects
- 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong fundamentals in a modern backend language (Python, Go, Java, Node.js or similar)
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices or distributed systems
- Solid grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker and modern deployment practices
- Strong debugging skills and comfort in unfamiliar codebases
- Clear communication and ability to turn business needs into technical solutions
