About this role
Gecko Robotics combines wall-climbing robots and AI platforms to monitor and ensure the reliability of critical industrial infrastructure. The Software Platform team builds Rolodex, the central data platform and facility context graph.
What you will do
- Lead the rearchitecture of Rolodex to support large-scale context graph data needs
- Deliver predictable APIs, SDKs, and local development tooling for agent workflows
- Own the evolution of centralized permissioning and authorization security models
- Design query abstractions, indexing, and smart routing for heavy workloads
- Write Terraform infrastructure-as-code and automate cloud infrastructure operations
What the employer expects
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in production environments
- Expertise in backend infrastructure, databases, or developer tooling in Python
- Experience designing secure, user-friendly APIs for intuitive data interaction
- Strong passion for developer experience and collaborative cross-team execution
- Solid familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
