About this role
Alpaca is a US-headquartered brokerage infrastructure company serving financial institutions worldwide through developer-friendly APIs. This senior frontend role owns the user experience for Trading API customers, covering trading dashboards and the backend features behind them.
What you will do
- Architect and build web and mobile applications
- Work with cross-functional teams on responsive, performant interfaces
- Own delivery of high-visibility features from design to deployment
- Mentor peers and influence technical strategy
What the employer expects
- 5+ years of frontend development with TypeScript/React
- 3+ years of Android and iOS mobile development
- 2+ years with a systems language like Golang, C++ or Rust
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind
- Experience with REST APIs and WebSockets
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Track record of influencing frontend best practices
